Did you know?

did you know

Did you know? Homelessness is both a statistical and a personal reality for many families, veterans, and a growing number of school children – yes, even in Naples, Florida.
In Collier County a family needs to earn $18.44 per hour in order to afford a modest rental, two bedroom home.
In 2013, Collier reported 396 homeless adults and 1,054 public school students as homeless, an increase in both groups from 2012. The school numbers include families that are doubled up in housing due to economic hardship.

Inocente: raise awareness about youth homelessness

Inocente is an inspiring story of a 15-year old girl who refuses to let homelessness define her. The Hunger & Homeless Coalition of Collier and FCEH bring this film to our community to raise awareness about youth homelessness and share its message of hope.
Saturday, November 16, 2-4 pm Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church 1225 Piper Boulevard Naples, Florida
